The UMass Dartmouth Math Circle is a part of the approximately 300 US Math Circles network

The UMass Dartmouth Math Circle is dedicated to exploring mathematical topics and problems in a fun and deeply satisfying way. In the Math Circle we will engage in uplifting, joyful, genuine mathematical thinking and doing for students & teachers.

The Math Circle is aimed principally at mathematics, data science, and physics, majors and minors.

All students interested in exploring mathematics joyfully in a supportive community are welcome in the Math Circle, including – and especially – High School students.

The very first meeting of the Math Circle tool place Wednesday, October 12, room 314 in the Library, from 4 PM – 5 PM, with UMass Dartmouth Mathematics faculty Adriano Marzullo, Gary Davis and Adam Hausknecht present.

Wednesday, October 19, the Math Circle will meet  4 PM – 5 PM in the computer room 128 in the Library.

All students and faculty are welcome any time. Just roll up to Library room 314 any Wednesday, 4 PM – 5 PM, unless there is an announcement that the meeting has moved to the computer room. We will alway be either in room 314, or in room 128, in the Library.
